Monsen Safety Program
                                              Important Safety Bulletin

The safety and health of our employees has always been a primary concern of the management of Monsen Engineering Company. Our employees are our most important asset and having an employee out sick or injured hampers the mission of our company, which is to serve our customers through our employees. A preventable accident or injury is damaging not only to the employee but also to his or her family.

We the management of Monsen Engineering Company will make every effort to provide our employees with a safe and healthful work place. This will be accomplished through the training of our management, supervisors and all employees in the recognition, avoidance and prevention of accident causing conditions and/or acts that may cause injury or death.

We will comply with or exceed the requirements, regulations and standards imposed by governmental agencies such as OSHA and the policies and suggestions of our insurance company and its experts. We will also impose these safety standards on our vendors and subcontractors.

Our Safety Committee will provide for the training of our managers, supervisors and employees to ensure safety awareness and proper work habits. We will take a proactive approach to preventing accidents before they occur rather than be reactive and after the fact. We will ensure proper storage, use and disposal of chemicals and other hazardous materials used in the course of our business. We will provide our employees with safe tools and equipment and maintain them properly.

Although it is primarily the responsibility of the managers and supervisors of Monsen Engineering Company to provide a safe work place consistent with our production goals, safety is everyone’s responsibility. All unsafe working conditions or conduct of other employees or subcontractors that violate our safety policy and procedures should be reported to management at once. As usual, your suggestions for improving our safety program will be appreciated.

We have spent considerable time and effort in developing the Comprehensive Safety and Accident Prevention Plan. We believe the rules and recommendations to be practical and reasonable. We are thoroughly committed to improving our accident record and we are determined to reduce our claims, costs and other losses due to job site injuries and accidents.

Should you have any questions or concerns about our commitment to providing a safe work place and preventing accidents and injuries, please contact us.
